Chairman Brig. Jan Nadir Khan (R) Dear Venturers, In our 32nd year of existence we can look back with some satisfaction at what we have achieved; how we have served our aims and objectives and how much we have contributed to the welfare of our young people. It is clear that the concept of action-oriented outdoor education has worked well and awareness of it as a tool for self-development is well served at all levels.
Outdoor education engenders greater environmental awareness and enables our venturers to develop a concern for its preservation. It is for its reason that we notice a building up of associations with eco-friendly institutions and organizations at the national and international level.
To this end acquiring of knowledge and skills to live and work in the wilderness becomes essential. The foundation provides just such a platform and venturers should make good use of it to equip themselves to face the challenges that they may face in the great outdoors.
The Adventure Foundation is an independent organization formed to foster the principles of Outward Bound concepts within traditional national educational and recreational programmes. It does this by the promotion of various forms of outdoor activities and thrill sports. The Foundation offers all kinds of people an opportunity to do things and travel the paths of adventure in the great outdoors. Close contact with nature builds up self-confidence through experience
